“Mind's Eye” is an acquired template that can be applied to any creature that has a natural power point reserve. When this template is aquired, the character grows a third eye in the center of their forhead that acts as the focus for many of the templates powers.

Size and Type: The creature’s type does not change.

Hit Dice: As per class/race.

Speed: No change.

AC: No change.

Attacks: No changes to base creature/race.

Special Attacks: Eye Ray

Eye Ray (Ex): If they creature has a ray attack through natural abilities, manifest a ray through psionics or magic, or is able to manifest energy through psychic means as a ranged attack, the creature can choose to focus the ability their third eye, gaining increased accuracy. This equates to a +1 racial bonus to hit with the attack.

Special Qualities: Sight Beyond Sight

Sight Beyond Sight (Su): The characters third eye can see things that others can't with but a mental command of the the creature. This is done with the use of insight points, which are gained at a rate of 1 per HD. They are used to fuel the abilities below, all of which are a swift action to activate and last for 1 round. Insight points refresh after a night's rest.
  • Pierce concealment: The creature is able to ignore all but total concealment that a creature has. Activation cost 1 insight point.
  • See invisibility: The creature is able to see invisibility as the spell, though the duration is reduced to 1 round as above. Activation cost 2 insight points.
  • Blindsight: The creature gains blindsight with a range of 60'. Activation cost 3 insight points.
  • True Seeing: The character is able to use true seeing as the spell, though the duration is reduced to 1 round as above. Activation cost 4 insight points.

Base Saves: No changes.

Abilities: No changes.

Skills: The character gets a +4 racial bonus to notice.

Feats: No bonus feats.

Climate/Terrain: Any.

Organization: As per creature

Challenge Rating: Base creature’s CR +1.

Treasure: Standard.

Alignment: As per race/class.

Advancement: By character class.

Level Adjustment: +1.
